 K460 as chromium, manganese and vanadium-based alloys of the oil quenched steel, have the ability and depth of hardening of good anti-wear deformation, can be used for electrical erosion operation. For all cutting mold, such as Die, notches mode, printing mold, plastic mold, wire tapping and screw formwork, wood cutting tools and so on.

Micro-deformation heat treatment, high hardness, toughness, resistance to cracking; have the ability and depth of hardening good, wear no deformation, can be used for electrical erosion operation. Easy processing, good sharp edge to maintain, heat treatment is easy. Requires smaller die life of the steel is recommended. Factory state: annealing, the maximum hardness of 225HB

K460 uses:

Forging: 1050 ℃ to 850 ℃ began forging stop, melted down with the furnace cooling.

:710-750 ℃ ​​annealing furnace slowly to protect the cold gas.

Stress Relief: 650 ℃ heat for 1-2 hours followed by slow furnace cooling.

Quenching :780-820 ℃ after quenching oil and heat through insulation or 200-250 ℃ nitrate monitoring solution hardening, tempering the cold to 50-70 ℃ immediately.

Tempering: tempering temperature and tempering time can refer to the chart.

 

K460 chemical composition:

     Carbon C: 0.95

     Chromium Cr: 0.5

Tungsten W: 0.5

Manganese Mn: 1.1

Silicon Si; 0.3

Vanadium V: 0.3

K460 Heat Treatment:
