Key Features

Heat-resistant carbon steel. High strength and toughness. Less than 500 ℃, high temperature performance is good, no hot brittle tendencies, good hardenability, machinability still, cold plastic deformation of the middle, poor welding. Generally used in the quenched state, but also in the normalizing and tempering before use.

Application examples

For the manufacture of high temperature nut (less than or equal to 550 ℃), bolts, studs (less than 530 ℃), the long-term working temperature to 510 ℃ of the fastener, the overall turbine rotor, sleeve, the main steam valve, regulating valve, but also as a nitriding steel for the production of stem, gear and so on.
