● Features and application:
Cold work die steel, the D2 is the introduction of United States Steel. Composition, performance and Cr12MoV steel similar to the same purpose, can be used instead.
● Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: 1.40 ~ 1.60
Si Si: ≤ 0.60
Manganese Mn: ≤ 0.60
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.030
Chromium Cr: 11.50 ~ 13.00
Ni: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25
Copper Cu: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30
Vanadium V: ≤ 1.00
Mo Mo: 0.70 ~ 1.20
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: Annealed, ≤ 255HB, indentation diameter ≥ 3.8mm; quenching, ≥ 59HRC
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Standard heat treatment: quenching, 820 ± 15 ℃ warm-up, 1000 ± 6 ℃ (salt) or 1010 ± 6 ℃ (controlled atmosphere furnace) heating, insulation 10 ~ 20min, air-cooled, 200 ± 6 ℃ tempering.
● Delivery status: the status of delivery of steel to annealing.
