Scope:
Is widely used cold die steel, high strength, good hardenability and good wear resistance, but poor impact toughness. Mainly used for shock loading less demanding wear Die and punch, cold-cut scissors, drill sets, gauge, drawing dies, pressure die, thread rolling board, thread rolling and drawing die molds.
Features:
● pure steel vacuum degassing refining process.
● ball softening annealing treatment, a good cutting performance.
● strengthen the elements vanadium, molybdenum special by adding, extremely excellent wear resistance.
Uses:
● thin plate thickness is less than 2MM, efficient blanking die, punching die and pressure die set.
● a variety of scissors, inlaid blade, woodworking blade.
● thread rolling die and wear slider.
● cold heading dies, thermosetting resin molding.
● deep drawing molding, extrusion dies.

Cr12 quenching temperature
950 ~ 1000 ℃ Cr12 quenching oil quenching, tempering 550 ℃ secondary
Quench 1100-1150 ℃, low temperature quenching 960-1050 ℃, tempering 550-650 ℃, the former a secondary hardening, tempering at least 2 times 2h, after tempering the cold air or oil, high temperature for 2 times before quenching the best warm-up, when heated at high temperatures, the need to take protective measures to oxidation.
Cr12 tempering:
Recommended standard tempering steel Cr12
