● Features and application:
Hot work tool steel, die-casting mold steel is commonly used, have a higher strength and hardness, good resistance to thermal fatigue, and better hardenability, but its poor toughness and ductility. Applicable to production of high temperature, high stress, the impact load from the punch, die, as die casting, hot extrusion mold, forging mold, molding and other non-ferrous metals.
● Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: 0.30 ~ 0.40
Si Si: ≤ 0.40
Manganese Mn: ≤ 0.40
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.030
Chromium Cr: 2.20 ~ 2.70
Ni: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25
Copper Cu: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30
Vanadium V: 0.20 ~ 0.50
Tungsten W: 7.50 ~ 9.00
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: Annealed, 255 ~ 207HB, indentation diameter of 3.8 ~ 4.2mm
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Standard heat treatment: quenching, 1075 ~ 1125 ℃ oil cooling.
● Delivery status: the status of delivery of steel to annealing.
