● Features and application:
Is widely used cold die steel, high strength, good hardenability and good wear resistance, but poor impact toughness. Mainly used for shock loading less demanding wear Die and punch, cold-cut scissors, drill sets, gauge, drawing dies, pressure die, thread rolling board, thread rolling and drawing die molds.
● Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: 2.00 ~ 2.30
Si Si: ≤ 0.40
Manganese Mn: ≤ 0.40
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.030
Chromium Cr: 11.50 ~ 13.00
Ni: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25
Copper Cu: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30
Cobalt Co: ≤ 1.00
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: Annealed, 269 ~ 217HB, indentation diameter of 3.7 ~ 4.1mm; quenching, ≥ 60HRC
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: 1) quenching, 950 ~ 1000 ℃ oil cooling; 2) quenching 980 ℃, oil cooling, 180 ℃ tempering 2h.
Microstructure: martensite + carbide + retained austenite undissolved.
● Delivery status: the status of delivery of steel to annealing.
