● Features and application:
1Cr17Ni2 Department of martensitic stainless steel with good strength and toughness in a steel. It oxidizing acid, most organic acids and organic salts in aqueous solution have good corrosion resistance. Generally suitable for manufacture of nitric acid, acetic acid production and light industry, textile industry, the requirements of both strength and toughness and corrosion resistance of the shaft, rod, pump and other parts.

Si Si: ≤ 0.80
Manganese Mn: ≤ 0.80
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.035
Chromium Cr: 16.00 ~ 18.00
Ni-Ni: 1.50 ~ 2.50

Tensile strength σb (MPa): quenching and tempering, ≥ 1080
Elongation δ5 (%): quenching and tempering, ≥ 10

Hardness: Annealed, ≤ 285HB
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: 1) annealing, 680 ~ 700 ℃ air-cooled high-temperature tempering; 2) quenching, 950 ~ 1050 ℃ oil cooling; 3) tempering 275 ~ 350 ℃ air-cooled.
Microstructure: Organizing for the martensitic type.
