1.4958 Overview of features and applications:
The alloy corrosion resistant to many corrosive media. Its high nickel content in the aqueous corrosion conditions it has very good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. High chromium content so that it has better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking. The alloy has good resistance to nitric acid, organic acid corrosion, but in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid corrosion resistance is limited. In addition to the halide pitting corrosion may occur, but in oxidizing and non oxidizing salt has good corrosion resistance. In water, steam and steam, air, carbon dioxide mixture also has good corrosion resistance.
