2738 pre-hardened mold steel

 

    2738 added about 1% nickel content, the pre-hardness. The addition of nickel to increase their hardenability performance, large cross-section plate hardness distribution.

    Mainly used in large plastic mold, mold rack, such as car bumpers, TV shell and so on. Requires high degree of light for the whole mold, such as production of PS (PS) and Super glue is not quenched (ABS), etc. Features: excellent processing properties, cutting polishing and electrical erosion.
