60Si2Mn heat treatment process
Spheroidizing: The 850-degree heat, cold oil quenching, isothermal ball short process (790-degree heat 25Min, quench heat to 680 degrees 1H, furnace cooling to 500 degrees baked), get good ball of the organization. 60Si2Mn steel quenching temperature the normal 850 degrees to 870 degrees to take the oil cooling. Tempering temperature requirements as the hardness of the mold and take part, such as
400 degree tempered, hardness 46HRC;
500 degree tempered, hardness 40HRC;
600 degree of tempering, hardness 34HRC.
150 to 160 degrees tempered with the best performance, attention must be about 300 degrees to avoid temper embrittlement zone. Demands for higher toughness of tool and die, good dimensional stability required measuring and tempering temperature can be increased to 250 degrees, hardness of 55 ~ 60HRC, has good toughness.

Annealing; 750C-furnace cold-HBS ≤ 222

Tempering holding time and thickness: mm / min, <10/25-30 ,10-15 / 30-35,15-20 / 40-45,20-25 / 45-50.

60Si2Mn density 7.85g/cm3. 60Si2Mn is widely used silicon-manganese spring steel, strength, flexibility and higher hardenability than 55Si2Mn. For railway vehicles, automobile and tractor industry to bear a greater load on the production of flat spring 30mm or less in diameter coil spring.

60Si2Mn heat treatment specifications: quenching 870 ℃ ± 20 ℃, oil cooling; tempering 480 ℃ ± 50 ℃ (special needs, ± 30 ℃).
Microstructure: Tempered troostite.
Delivery status: hot-rolled steel to heat treatment or heat treatment delivery, cold-drawn steel with heat treatment delivery.
Hot Delivery Specification: 2.0 ~ 18.0mm, with annealing and non-annealed state. Cold delivery specifications: 0.3 ~ 4.3mm (steel)
