SK7 is a high carbon content of 0.6 carbon steel, hardened after use, SK7 excellent wear resistance, and is cheaper tool steel. There is some need for sliding parts, and production of high hardness cold mold parts. SK7 be flexible material commonly used in parts, stamping SPCC almost the same characteristics, hardness and rebound slightly stronger, often punching and then heat treated to achieve the required hardness and elasticity.
