● Features and application:
S-P complex is high-sulfur, low-silicon cutting steel. Cutting significantly higher than Y12, Y12 steel to improve production efficiency than the 30 to 50%, in particular, tapping, tap life more than double than the Y12, commonly used in the manufacture of standard parts is not important, such as bolts, nuts, fittings , spring seat and so on.

Carbon C: 0.10 ~ 0.18
Si Si: ≤ 0.15
Manganese Mn: 0.80 ~ 1.20
Sulfur S: 0.23 ~ 0.33
Phosphorus P: 0.05 ~ 0.10
● Mechanical Properties:
Tensile strength σb (MPa): (hot) 390 - 540; (cold drawn) steel thickness or diameter of 8 to 20 hours: 530 ~ 755;> 20 to 30 hours: 510 ~ 735;> 30 hours: 490 ~ 685
Elongation δ5 (%):( hot) ≥ 22; (cold) ≥ 7.0
Reduction of ψ (%):( hot) ≥ 36
Hardness: (hot) ≤ 170HB; (cold drawing) 152 ~ 217HB
